Our PPC league involves a short course of fire (90 rounds - targets 1 to 4 only) which begins mid-May each year. The league is handicapped to give new shooters an equal "shot" at the available prizes.
New shooters are encouraged. Competition rules which are cost-prohibitive for a new shooter to comply with are often waived if the safety of the range is not compromised.
As with all PPC events, a range officer "runs" the line. The range officer controls the loading and unloading of the firing line, directs when shooters begin and end shooting, times the matches and generally maintains a safe firing line.
The cost of the fourteen week league is very inexpensive - approximately $25. for CCSC members and $50 for non-members. All participants are responsible for the cost of targets and ammunition and must have a Lethbridge Fish and Game Range Membership. Peer shooters are often willing to assist new shooters in getting started.
Our Action shooting league involves a different shooting opportunity every week. Unique stages are created and all shooters give 'em a try. Beginning Mondays in mid-May, this league offers challenging shooting situations at a very affordable cost.
Shooters who wish to shoot occasionally, without being a member of the league, will be allowed to participate by paying a walk-on fee.
All Action league participants must have a CCSC membership and a Lethbridge Fish and Game membership with a range pass.
